Pomodoro Timer: Focus Bar

Privacy Policy

Effective 1 August 2026

Pomodoro Timer: Focus Bar collects nothing. There is no account, no sign up, and no server to send anything to.

Information collected

None. The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information of any kind. It asks for no name, no email address, and no payment details.

Your data stays on your Mac

Your timer settings and your logged focus sessions are stored locally on your Mac using Apple's SwiftData framework. That data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to any server operated by us, because there is no such server. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.

Network access

The app talks to exactly one thing over the network, and only when you ask it to: Apple's App Store, so that it can offer and restore the paid unlock. There is no other network use. Your sessions, settings, and goals are never transmitted anywhere. We operate no server, so there is nowhere for your data to be sent even in principle.

No analytics or tracking

There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporting SDK, no advertising identifier, and no third party code that observes how you use the app. Nothing about your behaviour is measured or recorded anywhere but your own Mac.

Purchases

If you buy the paid unlock, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app whether the purchase exists. We never see and never store your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

The app is safe for all ages because it collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date.
